(Dan Tri) – Considered the first hybrid model in the C-size SUV segment in Vietnam, Haval H6 HEV has a price equivalent to the highest version of Hyundai Tucson, Mazda CX-5 or Honda CR-V.
On August 2, Haval H6 2023 officially launched to Vietnamese customers.
This price is at a high level in the C-size SUV segment, slightly higher than Mazda CX-5 (749-869 million VND), Hyundai Tucson (highest 1.06 billion VND) and equal to Honda CR-V (highest 1,118 billion VND).
The basis for distributors to confidently price billions is also because Haval H6 2023 is a quite successful product in Thailand.
After the promotion, the actual selling price of Haval H6 2023 is 1,066 billion VND.
The overall appearance of the car is imposing with the largest overall size in the segment, approaching a D-class car. However, the space inside the Haval H6 is equivalent to the competitor when the car has a wheelbase of 2,738mm, still losing.
In terms of equipment, Haval H6 has front/rear LED lights, LED daytime positioning lights with integrated turn signals, and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The car’s interior pursues a simple and modern style with a rotary electronic gear lever, a 10.25-inch digital dashboard behind the steering wheel, and a 12.3-inch entertainment screen located in the area.
Included amenities include: HUD head-up display, electric seats, wireless phone charger, 2-zone automatic air conditioning with air filtration function, panoramic sunroof, 4-mode power trunk.

The power of Haval H6 2023 comes from a hybrid powertrain, including a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, combined with an electric motor to help produce a total of 240 horsepower and maximum torque of 530Nm.
Following the trend, Haval H6 2023 possesses many modern safety technologies, even slightly better than its competitors in some features.

Well received in Thailand or Australia, but when it returns to Vietnam, Haval H6 2023 will need time to conquer customers due to the new brand element.
Selling price may be a barrier for the H6, when domestically assembled products such as the CX-5, Tucson or CR-V will all receive a 50% reduction in registration fees from July 1 according to the `domestic` car support policy.
The competitive advantage of the Haval H6 2023 comes from the hybrid powertrain, which helps save gasoline while providing strong engine performance.
