Russia's `more dangerous than Kinzhal` weapon destroyed Kiev's largest power plant 0
(Dan Tri) – Russia used a new weapon to attack and completely disable the Trypilska thermal power plant, the plant with the largest generating capacity in the Kiev region.

Defense Express reported that Russia used newly built Kh-69 cruise missiles in the attack on the Trypilska factory on April 11, causing the power plant with the largest capacity in the Kiev region to be flattened.
Ukrainian officials are said to have discovered fragments of this missile at the scene, Defense Express said.
The Kh-69’s attack range is 400km.
The Kh-69 missile guidance system is similar to the system installed on the X-101 cruise missile, satellite navigation system with anti-jamming, as well as inertial `Cometa-M` antenna.

According to Defense Express, although this missile’s speed is not as fast and has a smaller warhead than the Kinzhal hypersonic missile, to Ukraine, the Kh-69 poses a greater threat and is considered more dangerous.
First, it demonstrated its effectiveness in the attack when it destroyed Trypilska, one of Kiev’s important power plants that Ukraine has devoted a lot of resources to protect in recent times.
Second, the aircraft that launched the Kh-69 were the Su-34, Su-35 and Su-57 series.
In addition, because Russia has a large number of Su-34s and Su-35s, they can launch large-scale attacks on Kh-69 missiles into Ukraine, causing more serious devastating effects than using large numbers of them.
Defense Express noted that the Kh-69 missiles used by Russia appear to be experimental and have not yet entered mass production, so it is unclear how many weapons of this type Russia has.
At the same time, the attack range of this missile is 400km, enough to put a significant number of targets on Ukrainian territory within range.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that on the morning of April 11, the country’s military launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine’s energy and fuel infrastructure in response to Kiev’s raids on the refinery system.
According to Ukrainian officials, Russia used more than 80 missiles and drones for the raid.
